Was a lot less interesting than I'd hoped. My greatest source of glee was the Paradise Falls slavers instantly attacking me on account of my previous pogrom against the town. Finally, someone noticed my good work there!

| | Killer7 OST - Resound of Silence | ] | Did I perhaps mention that fallout 3 pc achievements are seperated from fallout 3 360 achievements, so that I have two sets of the same achievements? Fair enough, I guess. I did buy the game twice (shut up).
Did I also mention you can get achievements even if you cheat using console commands? Ermmm, that seems pretty... broken.
Did I also mention there are console commands to manually give yourself achievements?

This was discovered a whiles back, but I'm surprised I didn't write about it at the time.
Another bugger is, as well as achievements being seperate, so too is downloadable content. So if I want to play Operation Anchorage or the coming expansions, I'll have to buy them seperately for PC. nyoro~n <:3c |

Luke is at GDC, and I seethe with fury. I'm also very, very hungry. The kitchen is in that state were it's full of herbs and spices and condiments, but nothing that's actually edible. HRRRRRRRRRRFFFFFFFFFF. |

| | Motoi Sakuraba - Mission to the deep space | ] | My room has too much wall space and I don't have enough posters! This must be... corrected. Not to mention a lack of furniture in general, so half my stuff is in boxes/strewn across the floor. I have a bed and a desk, which is sufficient to my needs.
Everyone's gone this weekend, and I have no money. So I've spent the weekend under the covers playing Chrono Trigger. It's nice to have a legitimate copy of one of my favourite games of all time. Some people make it a habit of reading The Lord of the Rings at least once a year, the same applies to me with Chrono Trigger.
Things have been stressful for the whole family for the last couple of months. A case of anything that could go wrong, has gone wrong. Definately my having to move was one of those, but by no means the most severe. The most pressing one was that of my Nan, who has been very, very ill (i.e: cancer) to the point of requiring dangerous surgery (especially dangerous for an old person), fortunately she's just been given the all clear by doctors and she's feeling a lot better. Things looks like they're coming around at last.
And, with a bit of luck, I can replace my horrible job selling windows with an awesome job fixing peoples TVs. Hey, it's something I'd actually be good at. |

Moving to Portsmouth. More on that story when it develops. Now I'm busy packing and being ill. Good times!
Fallout 3. Great game. I had a lot of fun playing it. Let me warn you off right now: The ending is bullshit. Probably the most unsatisfying conclusion to a game ever. And a final encounter you can literally jedi mind trick into leaving, or kill in one hit (I reloaded, just in the hope he'd turn out to be a proper boss, one shot in the head made him explode in a shower of gibs).
Here, without giving away the context, I'm going to tell you more or less what happens after the pitiful boss fight. You are given a choice.
Spoilers below, sort of! 1. You fucking die. 2. You're a dick for not fucking dying.
Actually, I could almost accept it if the whole scene wasn't sloppily written (if you've recruited Fawkes, for instance, the writers have basically backed themselves into a corner), and completely shoehorned into the story. I wonder how they'll handle expansion packs. Personally I'm hoping the ending gets retconned. But it's far more likely that the game will simply add new locations to your existing pre-conclusion save, much like the Oblivion expansions. Blech.
It's meme time, yay!
( It's worse than that. It's a meme, Jim. ) |

The most absolutely awesome thing about left 4 dead? Being a tank and punting someone off a tall building.
Being on the recieving end of that punt pulls in a close second. |
